Frame Plates - Rear Side for Jeep CJ (1976-86)
Rear plates are 3-1/2 ft. long. Start at the rear body mount outrigger and go up over the rear axle to crossmember. Rear plates come with two lower plates to reinforce the shackle hanger area of the frame. Set of 4 pieces
Reinforce the frame of your Jeep CJ with these 3/16" thick steel plates. Pre-punched holes line up perfectly, and their contour cut to the shape of the frame. Weld them on the outside of the frame and add serious strength to the stock weak design. Available for the front or rear of the Jeep CJ.
Fits 1972-86 Jeep CJ5, CJ6, CJ7, & CJ8
Fits CJ8 but will not extend to the rear crossmember. Won't fit '72-'75.
